Friday night cookings @home
Call me crazy.
It’s the time of the year when the most delicious desserts (saffron buns, gingerbread, christmas chocolates) are turning up to the market. And what do I decide to do?
Go on a diet for nearly the whole December – until the 22nd, when I fly back home. Why? Lately I’ve been feeling exhausted and tired, having difficulties with balanced eating, and probably lacking a thousand vitamins. It’s also nicer to treat oneself around Christmas not having eaten too much of all those goodies already.
So how will my December diet look like?
First of all, no added sugar.
No white flour or dairy. This does’t include eggs.
No meat. This doesn’t include fish.
What will I be eating then?
Fruits. Apples, bananas, pears, kiwis, mandarines, avocados, sharons..
Vegetables. Tomatoes, cucumbers, kale, onions..
Beets. Carrot, Sweet potato, yellow beets, red beets, parsnip, turnips..
Fish & Eggs
…To name a few.
